ROSIE PLATTS
Rosie wanders between worlds, seeking truth, consciousness and connection. She believes in the inherent love at the core of all beings and seeks to help people empower themselves on this earth walk. Equality, freedom, creative expression and unconditional love are central to Rosie’s practice. A life spent travelling between a small country NSW town, the South Coast and various countries around the world have instilled her with a deep appreciation of nature, adventure and the importance of community.
Rosie is in her last semester of a Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Community Development and Human Services. She has completed Certificate IVs in Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Mental Health, and worked as a support worker in these settings in both not-for-profit and the private hospital system. She is a certified Ka Huna Bodywork massage therapist and member of the IICT (International Institute of Complementary Therapists.)
She is trained in Hatha yoga and shamanic practices, and currently training to facilitate conscious dance. In her spare time she volunteers for Sea Shepherd conservation society, enjoys meditations drawing from various traditions, explores earth medicine and dream yoga practices and attempts to surf.
