In many ways, the philosophy is similar to other ancient cultures throughout the world. The word "Huna",is a composite word: 'Hu' is a word for masculine energy and 'Na' is feminine energy. Ka Huna massage is designed to bring these two internal energies into balance, just as Traditional Chinese Medicine is designed to balance the Yin and Yang (feminine and masculine) energies.
Ka Huna is different from other massage
Ka Huna massage technique is rhythmic, flowing and energetic. Using hands, wrists and forearms, the therapist moves fluidly around the table. These rhythmic motions can have a deeply relaxing effect, in addition to the muscle relaxation that comes with the massage.
In Ka Huna massage, the intention and focus of the practitioner are of paramount importance. There is a holistic approach taking into account your physical, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual state of being with openness, love and compassion. This is the essence of the "aloha" spirit that is sacred to the people of Hawaii.
Ka Huna Bodywork Massage
Mini Ka Huna 30 minutes $ 40
This is a half body massage.
Upper body (back, shoulders, neck, arms & hands,) or Lower body (legs & feet)
Big Ka Huna 75 minutes $ 90
This is a full body massage and can induce a state of deep relaxation so it's recommended to give yourself plenty of time afterwards to gain the most benefit.
